After-School ABA Therapy
what is after-school aba therapy?
ABA Collective provides focused ABA therapy services within our after-school ABA program. This program provides ABA therapy services for children who are enrolled in a school program but may benefit from additional support in areas of their daily life outside of school. After-school ABA therapy is provided at a less intensive number of hours per week when compared with our comprehensive, early intervention ABA program.
Often, our after-school ABA therapy focuses on providing support to our clients in areas such as daily living skills, community skills, and friendship skills.
who benefits from the after-school aba program?
This program is intended for children with autism who are between the ages of 3 and 12 years old and are currently attending or will soon be attending school but still require some support with areas outside of school (e.g., playing at the park, going grocery shopping, using technology for social interactions with friends, preparing snacks).
how do i know if the after-school ABA program is right for my child?
If your child has an autism diagnosis and goes or will be going to school but are facing some challenges in an area that is not currently being addressed within the school environment (e.g., social skills, self-care skills, instruction following at home), your child might benefit from participating in our after-school ABA program.
ABA Collective will conduct an assessment to determine the need for after school program hours for each child.
